Pardew fears for job

West Ham boss Alan Pardew says he fears for his future after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Portsmouth plunged his side into the Premiership relegation zone.

Pardew took over at Upton Park in October 2003 but believes he is enduring his worst spell at the helm.

He said: "Any manager who has lost six games has a certain amount of fear about his job. It must be the worst run I've ever had and is not acceptable.

West Ham have a really bad run of form!... After starting the season how they left off last year. As we're all aware the arrival of Tevez and Macherano has far from signaled a new beginning as we all expected but yet a nightmare. I feel Pardew can turn it around though. He should given the time to do this. Just remember all the stick he got when he first joined the hammers!... that was all forgotten at cardiff last may! So lets hope West Ham don't follow the recent trend of sacking managers after a couple of bad results and show some loyalty. I'm sure their faith would be repaid!
