West Brom have revealed they have turned down a transfer request from midfielder Zoltan Gera.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Albion have rejected out of hand Zoltan Gera's transfer request.
"This is in keeping with the Baggies' strategy not to sell any of the key members of the first-team squad."
Gera, along with West Brom team-mates Nathan Ellington and Curtis Davies, were the subject of a joint £10m from Wigan in June.
Hungary captain Gera is one of Albion's most influential players and his absence through injury for much of last season contributed to their relegation to the Championship.
He joined the Baggies from Ferencvaros for £1.5m in July 2004, and played in all of their 38 Premiership games in his first season.
