Featherstone Rovers History
A Different League was a satirical play based on the rugby league club merger proposals of 1995 and was set in Featherstone. The opening title sequence is a montage of footage taken from the glorious history of Featherstone Rovers and illustrates what was at stake. The footage includes the Wembley appearences throughout the years, cup wins and rare amateur footage from Post Office Road in 1977 when the Rovers parade the first division championship trophy.
