What do Tottenham do?

Tottenham are once again spending big in the hope of challenging for a Champions League place. Luca Modric is an excellent signing but do you feel Spurs will always have to settle for the UEFA Cup, never to reach the Champions League. What do they need to do to make that extra step?

If Liverpool don't improve this year I think Spurs could catch them, top four teams need to get results against all the lower clubs, dropping points against lower clubs is what did for Spurs and Liverpool to a lesser degree last season. Home result against the other members of the top four will secure a place..Will spurs do it this year hard to say, I think they have the manager to get them there, but whether the players have the attitude to do it will be more important.....
