The Red Dahlia

Did anyone else watch this three part detective drama which finished on Wednesday evening? I thought it was okay but why did they have to spoil it at the end with the pretty yound detective snogging her ageing boss. It added absolutely nothing to the plot.

Apparently, "Silent Witness" was also ruined last night according to Mr D because of "ridiculous snogging".

Sex gets audiences going these days I suppose. But it does detract somewhat from the story. That's TV for you these days.

re Red Dahlia:

this is part of a series of books with the same characters, she ends up living with him later, then when he gets cut up with a machete she leaves him!

I thought it was all right and the black Dahlia was a true story. I remember reading about it last year.

I really used to enjoy Silent Witness but why did they have to get so involved with the case of the people that they autopsy. The kissing was a little ott though.
