Swansea have moved top of League One following a late 1-0 victory over Hartlepool at The Liberty Stadium.
The Swans began the game with a poor recent record against Hartlepool, having not won any of their last six meetings.
Roberto Martinez's side made a bright start with Ferrie Bodde bringing a fine save out of Pools keeper Jan Budtz from 25-yards out.
Hartlepool hit back before half-time, but James Brown's fine right-footed shot was somehow kept out by Dorus de Vries.
The second half was evenly balanced and the game looked destined to finish goalless until The Swans snatched the points.
With just eight minutes left Spanish defender Angel Rangel drilled home from just inside the area for first goal for the club after good work by Bodde.
