This will be a big shock if it happens i liked the guy as a player but as a Manager ... What is Sunderlands ambitions? you cant take a Manager to a club with out any experience in management and expect high expectations, would love to hear what the fans have to say about this.

What's the feeling about last season up in Sunderland, Valsafc. I believe you've got to take your chance in the Premiership when you get there, cos the Championship is a hard league to get out of. Do you think you were ambitious enough regarding the players you bought.

Yes Beefy I agree with you you must take your chance! We had a canny set of players from the lower leagues with a splattering of a couple of older heads that got us into the prem, dont get me wrong it wasn't all good to watch but we deserved to go up, Mic Mac is a great guy but he made the mistake of letting a good few players go and brought 12 in who nobody really new who they were, if we had kept the nuculeus of our team and added maybe 3 or 4 I think we might of stayed up that was where we went wrong.

Ambitious NO! thats why Murray had to go, I will give Quinny my full support and I think he does have the ambition and passion to do it, because you are right the championship is a very hard league and with west brom, birmingham,
leeds, wolves etc chomping at the bit its a very sh*t league to climb out of.

To be fair Sunderland is a top side just like a few other teams in this league which makes great football for us that are not in their with you, every Saturday i bet there are as many people looking for the results of this league as there are for the Premiership.

After losing all their games this season so far, Quinn has resigned his managers role and promised to bring in a World class manager to get Sunderland out of trouble. This World class manager appears to be non other than Roy Keane. How is Keane a world class manager when he's never managed a team in his life. Sunderland will have a manager and a Chairman who will never have won a game in their respective roles between them. I think it's gonna be a long hard season at the stadium of light,
