What a great bloke
The Sunderland flight back from Cardiff this weekend was cancelled, leaving 160 fans stranded. Niall Quinn the chairman made a terrific gesture by paying for taxi's for all the people to get home and told them the club would pick up the bill. What a brilliant gesture by the club.
 . Well done Sunderland, i hope you win promotion because you deserve it

Quinny and the other staff members actually went to the cash points and drew the cash out cos' the taxi's needed paying cash to do it, he stayed until the supporters all left before coming back himself.
After the Southampton game one of the supporters coaches had its windows put out and could'nt continue, Quinny heard about it and because the team were flying back he got the team coach to turn back to pick them up. The big man is a HERO on wearside.
