Parkin joins from Hull
Stoke have added to their striking options by bringing in Jon Parkin from Hull.
The former York City man has featured regularly for Hull this term, but has struggled for goals during the present campaign.
The Tigers are scrapping for their lives at the foot of the table, but have opted to allow the 25-year-old to join Stoke on loan
The capture is a boost to Stoke's hopes of claiming a play-off berth.
Potters assistant manager Dave Kemp told his club's official website: "Hopefully he will bring us goals and everyone knows we have been light on goals, so we have been desperate to get someone in.
"We feel Jon fits the bill perfectly."
