League Cup
Hibernian battled on into extra time after a 1-1 draw with St Johnstone to win a place in the CIS Insurance Cup Final. Hibs won 3-1 after extra time, despite a poor display in the first 45 minutes. Despite scoring after just 3 minutes, St Johnstone looked the stronger side throughout much of the first and early second half, when they equalised.
However, the best side overall on the night won the place in the finals as premiership experience shone through.
They play Kilmarnock, who overcame Falkirk in their semi final match, in the cup final. I cannot seem to find a date for this fixture as yet.
