Takeover talks opened with Irish consortium.
The Irish consortium headed by former Carlisle boss Roddy Collins have opened takeover talks with the administrator according to Radio Sheffield
Radio Sheffield have just reported that Anthony McMullen has started takeover talks with administrator Jeremy Bleazard to take the cash striken club out of administration.
McMullen is a property developer with property worldwide and told Radio Sheffield that he will pay any outstanding wages to staff and players as soon as he can takeover the club, but that will not be until April 1st at the earliest.
Should the McMullen group take over the club, they have said they will build the club a new ground.
Lets hope he does come in then, he sounds good, and with him being involved in property development, it could mean the new ground will get done quick.
