Over a week to sort out his visa, quite shocking really....

Rangers expect new signing Sasa Papac in Glasgow on Friday, despite fears that a visa problem would prevent him making his debut against Falkirk.
The 26-year-old defender's agent had said that he might not arrive until Saturday morning.

But a Rangers spokeswoman said: "There is not a problem and he is expected in Glasgow today."

The Bosnia-Herzegovina defender joined Rangers for £450,000 from Austria Vienna last Thursday.

Papac had hoped to arrive in Glasgow this Thursday, according to his agent.

And Skender Fani had told the Daily Express: "The work permit has been issued by the British Government, but now there is a delay with his visa. I don't know if I'll be able to play this weekend even though I am fit

"The British Embassy in Sarajevo say that they must have the original work permit in order to process the visa."

Papac required a work permit because Bosnia-Herzegovina is not yet a full member of the European Union.

That has been received, but he then also required a visa.

"We thought that a faxed copy would be enough, but they say it must be the original document and Rangers are now speaking with the authorities to see what can be done," said Fani.

Papac had been hoping to play against Falkirk on Saturday, but manager Paul Le Guen might have second thoughts because of his lack of preparation.

But he said: "I don't know if I'll be able to play this weekend even though I am fit.

"I hope this can be solved quickly. It's so frustrating."
