Terry V Ferdinand V Gerrard

seems these are the 3 that could be england captains

i say all three would be great at the job but who do you think deserves it the most???

for me its a close run thing between terry and rio, i like the passion they both have, not that gerrard lacks passion but i see it come out more in terry and rio, they both seem like natural born leaders.

im sure whoever get it will do the best for england

I think Gerrard deserves it although i dont think he will get it. Rio and JT are too childish to be captain of England in my opinion. I dont think anyone can doubt the fact that JT is probably the most determined and influential player in the England team but he does too many silly things when his team are not winning. Rio has the determination but he doesnt seem like he influences players enough to me and also does some silly things when his team are losing, e.g. kicking the ball at his own fans, kicking woman etc. plus do we really want an ex drug addict as the captain of our country

Gerrard has the full package, maybe not as good a leader on the field as JT or Rio but he isnt far behind them plus he doesnt have the tantrums to the same extent as the others.

Gerrard for me. And he should be given the same role in the middle for England as he plays mainly at Liverpool.

Gerrard for me, both Terry and Ferdinand have disgraced themselves in the past, Gerrard is the perfect roll model and a winner.

Maybe it would have been easier if he didn't have a drug shamed past, but it happened and he was guilty, end of story for me

In your dreams and as a neutral there is only man for the job Steven Gerrard no one else comes close to him and a good role role model for the youngsters.
Rio may be a reformed junkie but none the less he's a junkie..John Terry to much ego...Gerrard...just does what it says on the tin......
