i think the 2 players can't be compared because they have both played in different times.
e.g. if you put Pele (back when he was playing) in todays game, do you think he would produce the same performances?
the same applies for Ronaldo & Best.
Ronaldo wouldn't be as good playing in George Best's time & vice versa.
The football itself was different, as was the speed of the game & the referees wouldn't normally stop the game for a shoulder barge.

I dont think Ronaldo could have survived in the Georgie era the game was far more physical and his antics would have got him nailed big time,Nobody got away with his antics against Norman Hunter Chopper Harris Billy Bremner,Nobby Stiles,they would have eaten him in the first 10 Minutes.
