Old Players in Todays Game

Many years ago we had some very good players albeit playing under different conditions of today, for example the way the football has changed over the last 30 years, undersoil heating are just a few not to mention how the rules of the game has made it a game for poofs. Anyway my question is we had a footballer in the name of Alan Ball, who i believe would have made it good in todays game style, do you have an old ex-player who played for your team that you believe would be able to handle todays game. I know many players today could not handle the old game for sure.
