Portsmouth win the FA Cup

Portsmouth produced the goods today as they beat Championship side Cardiff City 1-0 thanks to a Kanu goal in the first half. Cardiff certainly had their chances but were unable to make them count, although they did have the ball in the net after a scramble but was ruled out correctly for handball. It is the first time since 1939 that Pompey have lifted the famous trophy.
