Holloway rejects Hayter link
Ian Holloway has rubbished reports linking Plymouth with a move for Bournemouth striker James Hayter.
Hayter has scored seven goals in all competitions this season and has been tipped to secure a move to the Championship.
A national newspaper suggested that Plymouth could be poised to make a bid for the striker in the January transfer window.
However, Holloway has dismissed the speculation and questioned where the link might have come from.
"It's absolute poppycock. I don't know how they would know what we are doing down here," he said.
Former Argyle manager Tony Pulis watched Hayter last season but a transfer never materialised.
