Argyle Sign Puncheon
Plymouth Argyle have announced that Barnet winger Jason Puncheon will sign for the Pilgrims' on July 1st.
The Home Park club have agreed a £250,000 fee with Barnet for the sought-after wide-man, who will put pen to paper on a two-deal deal. Puncheon is Paul Sturrock's first signing of the summer and paves the way for Peter Halmosi to join Hull City.
The 21-year old winger has been the subject of interest from several clubs including some in the Premier League and the deal represents a major coup for the Pilgrims.
Leeds United had a £250,000 bid rejected during the January transfer window for a player described as the 'best outside of the Premier League'.
The left or right-winger started his career at Wimbledon/MK Dons before moving to Barnet in 2006, making a total of 93 appearances and scoring 17 goals.
Last season the tricky wide-man weighed in with 11 goals and proved to be one of the best players in League Two.
