Gnapka to leave Peterborough
Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has slammed out-of-contract defender Claude Gnapka for "setting unreasonable demands".
The right-back is the only member of Darren Ferguson's squad to be out of contract in the summer and MacAnthony insists that he has refused a good offer to stay at London Road.
MacAnthony told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "The club's policy on unhappy players is that we don't want them.
"He was offered a great new contract this year and has messed us around ever since. Myself and the gaffer want to sign up our best players on long-term contracts and at the same time look after them as a reward for the job they have done so far.
"However I will not be dictated to by any player or his agent and refuse to have players using bids from rival clubs thrown at me as a way to get more money for themselves.
"I also personally feel that a player who is either injured or suspended for over 35% of the time he has been with us should not be setting unreasonable demands either, but when he leaves, best of luck to him."
