Latics land Frenchman
Oldham Athletic have dipped into the foreign transfer market for French midfielder Moussa Dabo.
The 24-year-old has followed the example of his brother and Manchester City new-boy Ousmane by sealing a move to the North West of England.
The younger Dabo saw his contract expire with Racing Club de Paris and linked up with The Latics for a trial period after a recommendation from former player Scott McGarvey.
Dabo clearly impressed Oldham manager John Sheridan and as a result has signed a two-year deal at Boundary Park, with the move still subject to international clearance.
The midfielder is aware of the unique challenges that League One football may bring, but is relishing the prospect of beginning his Latics career.
"I know it will be a lot more physical but I am looking forward to the challenge and can't wait for the season to start," Dabo told the club's official website.
The Frenchman is Oldham's fifth signing of the summer as Sheridan eyes an improvement on last season's tenth place finish.
