It is interesting to see that Notts County manager, Steve Thompson, who has been charged for: using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official, by the FA, is having his case dealt with by use of the new fast track system of dealing with disciplinary cases.

This makes it all the more bafflig though why Boston United manager, Steve Evans, still has an outstanding charge on the table for the same offence that relates to his sides game at Grimsby from LAST season when he was thrown out of Blundell Park by a steward and a police officer.
