Forest in Cole bid ?
Veteran striker Andy Cole, 36, has been offered £25,000 a week by Nottingham Forest to sign on a free transfer following his release from Sunderland. (Daily Mirror)

Bloody Hell 25k per week,he aint worth a quarter of that at this stage of his career,god I hope Florest sign him.

I think they've completed the deal now. Leeds were linked with him, at £25K a week i'm glad we stayed well clear, surely Forest could have done better for the money, i know there's no transfer fee involved but it's still a lot to play.

We'll see by his goals scored & games played (same to be said for Earnshaw) I thought we might of learnedour lesson after getting our fingers burnt over the Neil Lennon affair last season. 10K a week for a player who couldn't walk never mind run !!
I'll be keeping my eye on Commons as well, just to see what impact he makes & games played.....a luxury player in anyones books.
