i have a soft spot for newcastle for personel reasons and i am sorry to see the form the are going through at the moment and hope it ends soon. anyway if you look at the squad they have on paper they really seem like a team that should be challangeing for champ league positions dont you think?

to my mind i think k dyer is by far the best player the toon army have by far. yes i know he is injury prone but you also cannot deny that when he is fit and playing to his potential that newcastle seem like a differant team(better).so lets hope he stays fit and helps the toon army out of there poor form of late!!!!

they should be up there with bolton, but let's not forget that Owen is still injured, when he gets better and he and Martins find eachother , things might be looking a lot euh sunnier at newcastle

We miss Shearer that is for sure, not just for his goals but his leadership as some of the playes still dont know there way around a football pitch without been told where to stand if you know what i mean. Own will be back soon thou i dont think he is our savior, we need to feed him with some quality balls from midfield which at the moment we are lacking.

Scott parker has been influencial for newcasle this year, hes a great player always gives 110%

Parker is a work horse nothing special, and he doesnt feed the ball thru as he more a defensive midfielder.
