I think the problem with Newcastle is they tend to concentrate on attacking play rather than defence. If you think of the top players they've signed over the last 10 years, they all seem to be attack minded.

The supporters deserve nothing, it's the supporters of lower league sides that have the hardship. Newcastle fans watch top football every week, what about the likes of Torquay who have to travel up north on a midweek night to watch them play Hartlepool or Darlington. They're the ones who deserve something.

Why do they deserve owt for it though? Yes there's a lot of them, but they've under achieved, that's all! In recent years they've had a Cup Final. European Football and no relegation(yet)!

What about fan's of clubs like Rochdale? When did they last win a trophy, watch european football win promotion? They, and many other lower leauge supporters, deserve it more than Newcastle fan's!
