Manager Glenn Roeder has confirmed that Newcastle are close to sealing the transfer of Chelsea winger Damien Duff.
The 27-year-old is undergoing a medical after agreeing personal terms and is expected be unveiled at St James' Park for a reported £10m on Monday. Roeder told Setanta Sports: "We're very, very close, he has just got to get through his medical.
