Allardyce on thin ice

Looks like Big sam maybe skating on thin ice at St James Park

Various rumours going around linking Mark Hughes with St James Park and it is no secret that the Toons chairman , Billionaire Mike Ashley is a strong admirer of the Welshman

Visit various forums and the Sam out brigade have already started, when will they learn they are not a team pushing for Europe but simply a mid-lower mid table team.

I think football is getting more fickle every season. Not long back people were shouting for Big Sam to become England manager, now after very little time on Tyneside he's ready to be axed.

Who would you prefer to manage your club, Allardyce or Hughes ?

It certainly looks like that with Big Sam, although he's had very little time to turn it around. Hughes i'm not sure about, he's done a good job at Blackburn and i think he could be the successor to Sir Alex Whiskynose at the Prawn sandwich stadium

Sam Allardyce will be sacked as Newcastle manager and replaced by Alan Shearer if the Magpies lose to Arsenal on Wednesday. (Sunday Times)

Do you think Alan Shearer would be the right man to appoint as Newcastle manager?

Mark Hughes would be mad to go to Newcastle, but I think the same can be said for others. There is too much expected by their fans etc. They are a highly overrated club who seem to think they deserve to win everything going.

When will those billionairs learn that you cant change the entire team in a few months. It takes two years at least.
