The whole thing is good for a bit of a laugh, and possibly for seeing some nice girls that's all really.

I think Serbia won it last year. So it's from Belgrade this time. We won't win it ever again from what I can see. We don't produce anything original and like I said, the voting is purely on political grounds these days, not on whether the music is any good or not ...

Still think the Latvian Pirates should have won! (Then again I'm old enough
to remember when UK entered "poppy" songs like Puppet on a String and
Boom Bang-a-Bang, etc, etc).

At least Ireland and UK gave them 12 and 10 points respectively! Did it
have anything to do with the large Latvian workforce in those two
countries?

And nutters like me voting more it as many times as possible?

Yep, for those of you not sad enough to have got into all this, you can actually vote as many times as you like from the same phone once the lines are open - and for as many different or same songs as you like (except for the one representing the country you are phoning from) - and it only cost 15p a pop.

There is now talk of the UK pulling out of it altogether. That would certainly get my vote. Like most things to do with Europe & the EU the whole thing has become a total farce
