Thanks Darren - I'll let you know how it goes. The kids have also been so busy - Nat got into the school footie team so has training after school on a Weds and a match this Thurs - he's also joined the tag rugby group which trains on a Monday. I have to write out a timetable lol.
Anyway, it's lovely to have you back - sleep tight and I hope it isn't too cold for you. Love D xxxxx

When are you back at college Darren? Having not worked since June, I am feeling a bit rusty - I have to say that I am feeling a bit nervous about this meeting tomorrow.
-
Ha ha to the college is what I say - it's in absolute chaos by all accounts. I also bumped into an ex student of mine at Miranda's school's open evening last week - she's teaching History there and is using some of my old sources. I was so proud.

The opportunities have come along sooner than I wanted but I feel I have to grasp them - it will keep me out of mischief lol. I only joined a gym to keep me a bit fitter and they are a lovely bunch down there - no posers and mainly an ageing clientele. I do some work on the bicycle, treadmill and rower followed by a swim and a stint in the jacuzzi. I do feel so refreshed afterwards.

What a shame but as you say, it made a nice break. I have news for you - I have two offers of work - one through the University of Bath supporting their students who are on courses taught in Swindon - I am meeting the woman at the local hospital tomorrow (two hours tuition and one hour admin). The second is an ex student of mine who has enrolled on a Foundation Degree course at the Swine and has secured funding for support - he can apparently use this money with whoever he wants and has approcahed me - apparently all is above board and I am awaiting the go ahead from the borough council - this will be another three hours per week. In addition, I have joined a gym lol.

I'm sorry to hear about this Darren - were you feeling poorly? How was the weather - it must have been better than here.

Welcome back Darren - Sue was asking when you were back a little earlier. Did you have a good time?

It happens doesn't it? We could have conceded at the end - that would have been a travesty. Anyway, I expect you are really looking forward to the holiday - you and your parents all deserve a lovely break. What time will you have to leave your home to check in at the airport?
