What can Man Utd do to keep Ronaldo

He's under contract but it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to leave Old Trafford. What's the best thing Man utd can do in their position, either sell him for the best price or teach hm a lesson and let him rot in the reserves for a few months? Fergie has already said that's what he'll be doing and that there's no way he'll leave.

Everybody has a price. Much as Utd want to keep "Diving Boy" I think that money will talk in the end. He'll be at Real Madrid come the start of the season.

I agree, he wants to go, so it's pointless keeping an unhappy player. This highlights everything wrong with football today, if a player sees his contract out, he gets a big signing on fee and the club get nothing. If a player wants to go while under contract he does what Ronaldo does and gets a pay rise at his new club. He should be made to pay the rest of his contract up, or Man Utd should stick him in the reserves and let him rot. The money he's worth right now means that'll never happen

As much as i hate Ronaldo and Man Utd this is a case that affects every club in any division Beastly. Players are holding clubs to ransom, they're earning millions from football and it comes out of fans pockets. FIFA should bring a rule in where once a contract is signed, neither club or player can break it until the final year where new discussions can take place.

If Ronaldo wants to go, let him go. but only for every penny that can be bled out of Real madrid. They are arrogant enough to demand the best players, they should pay. £75 million at least in todays silly market. Anyway, I think Messi is a better player and after portugals performance the other night, I'd prefer not to see Ronaldos petulance again. He's started believing his own hype now, so can only be an unsettling influence in the changing room.

Ronaldo has been an arrogant sod all the time he's played for you Kelly, maybe you'll notice it more once he's gone. I'll be happy to get him out of the Premiership and also it's funny watching Man Utd fans suddenly turning against him, but it's still a sad day for football when player power is controlling the game.
