Ince getting fed up
Macclesfield boss Paul Ince has admitted his patience is wearing thin with the club's out-of-contract players.
Only Dave Morley and Kevin McIntyre have signed new deals at Moss Rose with Carl Regan on the verge of putting pen-to-paper.
Ince is currently waiting on several players to finalise their futures including Jonny Brain, Jimmy McNulty, Andrew Teague, Izak Reid, James Jennings, Alan Navarro and John Murphy.
The manager is less than happy with the regulations, with the deals open until Tuesday next week.
"It has been frustrating and after all we did last season it does leave a bit of a bad taste in your mouth," Ince said.
"A lot can change in the space of a week but we're still waiting on eight players to get in touch with (chief executive) Patrick (Nelson) or the chairman (Rob Bickerton).
"People obviously want the best deal for their families but we have to hold these offers open for a month and, not just me, every manager wants to be planning for next season.
"It's something that the Football League should have a look at."
