Lincoln boss lands February award

Lincoln City boss Peter Jackson has been named as League Two's manager of the month for February.
Jackson, who took over at Sincil Bank in October, recently revealed he is to undergo treatment for throat cancer.

The Imps won five of their six games during February to move away from the bottom of the table.

The other contenders for the award were Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson, Hereford boss Graham Turner and Stockport manager Jim Gannon.

Jackson will begin his treatment after Saturday's game with Wycombe, with his assistant Iffy Onuora taking temporary charge.

However, that run of five victories has already lifted Lincoln 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
