maybe, however Lincoln have the money, and as this season is proving, its not gonna happen without it, i can see a change in the board and manager soon, theres several thousand unhappy Lincoln fans that lying bulls***ing chairman Steff Wright is gonna have to answer to, and something is going to need 2 happen managerialy, the players arent playing like they can and should be for the club, and its down to them and the managerial setup to put that right...

i think you will be ok, you have got to the play-offs bout 3 times in a row. we havent played you yet, so i cant comment on how you play and what some of your players are like. but what i have seen in these games we have played, you have to be big and strong. were to small and try to pass it, its going ok, but sometimes we join in with the other teams and lump it forward. i forgot how bad this league is for football lol. ![]()

Lincoln City sack boss Schofield
Lincoln City sack boss Schofield
Lincoln had not won for nine games under Schofield Lincoln have axed the managerial team of John Schofield and John Deehan after the club's poor start to the season. Team manager Schofield and director of football Deehan led Lincoln into the League Two play-offs last season in their first year in charge. But the Red Imps, beaten 4-0 by MK Dons on Sunday, are now second from bottom with just two League wins. "The board have decided it is best to make changes while there's time to turn things around," said a club statement. It added: "Both men have worked tirelessly to bring playing success to the club and it is with regret of all parties that this has not resulted in better results." Youth-team coach and former long-serving Lincoln defender Grant Brown has been placed in temporary charge until the club appoints a new manager. Former City midfielder Schofield, 42, who signed a new three-year contract as manager in the summer, said: "Leaving the club this way is disappointing in view of the desire and vision the club and I shared."

well that was unexpected........ a new chairman wouldnt go a miss. who do you think the new man in charge will be at Sincil Bank??? i know the two i wouldnt mind seeing, although both are unrealistic, Neil Warnock, or Peter Taylor, but i cant see that happening in a million years, they would have no desire to come to league 2, let alone a team in Lincolns position.
what you reckon?? |

there is always some good young managers about. such as clough from burton and wilder from halifax. so i dont think you will really have a problem getting a new boss.
if you havent won in 9 games, then maybe he did deserve to go, but sometimes chairmans get rid of managers to quick. were only 11 games in and some teams, not sure if you are one, have brought in 11+ players. so they still may be geling. ![]()

Lincoln cant sign players pretty much, its ridiculous with the chairman being a tight fisted so n so, the money is there, but Steff Wright is too stupid to see we need investment if we are ever going to get promoted. We signed 3 or 4 players in the transfer market, and they're all useless, thats been the case for the last 2 years since Keith Alexander left.
