He is a very impressive player and seems to want to stay at Leeds as he will have been sold on the fact that they are on the way up the leagues. Money talks though.

In all honesty i can see Leeds selling him to a club who offers the right money. I'd be surprised if he went to Derby because it looks like they'll be coming down this season, Beckford being a Leeds player should believe that we'll go up, if he doesn't he shouldn't be at the club. If all that's correct, then next season both clubs will be in the same division and on an equal standing.
The spat between Wise and Jewell is comical, it's a bit tit for tat. Obviously Derby with premiership status are a lot more appealling than Leeds with League 1 status. If Jewell wasn't interested in Beckford, what was he doing at Crewe the other night, my view is that he wants beckford for next season not this. Beckford wouldn't cut it in the Premiership right now, let's see how he does in the Championship, either with Leeds or someone else.
