Leeds United were formed after the collapse of previous Football League club Leeds City in 1919. They played one season in the Midland League before being elected to the Football League for the 1920-21 season. The club's most famous period was the late 60s/early 70s, when two League titles, two Fairs Cups, two League Cups, and an FA Cup were won by legendary manager Don Revie. The Leeds United kits were changed to all-white in the 60s by Revie in imitation of Real Madrid, though the older yellow and blue are still incorporated in the club emblem. That emblem includes the Yorkshire rose, Leeds being a city in West Yorkshire county, part of the historic county of Yorkshire in northern England. The stadium is located on Elland Road.
