Players set to agree to wage deferral

According to reports on BBC Radio Sheffield, the Millers squad are to agree to a wage deferral after the month is through.

Boss Mark Robins was keen to express his desire to fans that his team would be giving 100% until the end of the campaign, and that the players would be willing to defer a percentage of their salaries during the clubs period of administration.

Robins told Radio Sheffield after meeting the administrator earlier; "We were told that the wages will be met in March and I passed that information onto the players, but after speaking to the administrator I found out thats not the case and was asked to take a deferral for the months wages."

"The Players want to assure the fans and everybody connected to the club that they will be giving 100% from now until the end of the season regardless of any problems with salary." Robbo added.

its not often players give up some of there wages, never would happen in the prem, so its good to see this

new investment about to take place things could be about to turn round for you this season may be a step to far now but you never know

i guess so, this irish group look like they mean buisness and wanted to get it sorted out, they said it could be done by april 1st, so lets hope so, they want to build the new ground as well.

but, still time for this season, win 6 of last 8 and we may steel the last play off place, we have beat you twice this season, so it has been a starbge season
