The Millers defeat at Wycombe means the Chairboys closed in on the leading pack but one result in our favour this weekend saw improving Mansfield pick up three points at Darlington.
Elsewhere the division's unpredictability continued as Stockport threw away an advantage to lose 2-1 at home to Bury, although they had to play the second period with just 10 men. Conuty are again in action tomorrow night as they entertain Mansfield at Edgeley Park.
Rochdale sit just outside the play off zone with games in hand and take on Notts County tomorrow, whilst Grimsby's recent flying form was halted as they had their wings clipped by Dagenham, who came away with a 4-1 win from Blundell Park to follow up their 6-2 demolishing of Chester last week.
Macclesfield slipped further into trouble as another of the league's improvers Lincoln recorded a 3-1 win at Sincil Bank. Brentford got another good win at home to Accrington, Brentford took a 1-0 lead before midfielder craney pulled it back to 1-1, but bang on half time, Haywood scored to make it 2-1, after the break connel made it 3-1 and secured a good win.
