Worst Away Following In The League!

After yesterdays game aginst wycome, i had a think about the worst away support in the league. i know i put one up not long ago about the best followings, but that all depends on how your team is doing, distance and even price.

We played wycome, and the prices were U12 £1, kids+OAP £5 and adults £15. so was cheap prices and we want a sell out so we can show the council we need a new ground, think they got about 750 tickets and sold 150, couldnt belive it. 7th in the league and won 3 out of 4, looking very good and playing 2nd, so you would think everyone would want to go,

i have to say, there not the worst in the league, MK dons are top, 10,000 at home and only brought 300 to us, shocking really.

So who do you think has the worst away support and how do you think yours has been?

ours have been great, last 3 away games, 1300, 1500, 1500. cant complain

How many do the likes of Bury & Rochadale bring to town ? Those, I would guess, would be the smaller followings.

they both brought about 400, wich couldnt believe becuase at the time, they were both near the play offs, so why only brong small away following if your doing well?

It shouldn't matter if you're doing well or not really. The best supporters are the ones that follow their teams when they're playing poorly. The 400 Bees that turned up at every away game when we were in 20th place and hadn't scored for over 500 minutes are heroes! It's easy following your team when you're near the top

Our away followings are generally around 250 - 350 but depening on the place it goes up or down.

i didnt make it to rotherham because there was an open evening at a college but i go to all the other away games and its the same faces every week. Our lowest away support this season was vs lincolnon new years day when we took 114, this was around the time when evryone had enough of casper and alexander and just wanted them to leave.

what i always look at is how much you get as your home gate. for example, we get 4500-5000 so 1500 is a good following, teams like accrington, if they bring 200 when they only get 1500, its a good following, but mk dons 10000 at home and bring 300 away, that is poor.
