League 2 review

just something i am trying, so what you think

As MK Dons' lead at the top is cut to two points, the top of the table is getting heated whilst it still looks grim for Lincoln and Wrexham at the summit.

As Paul Ince's side slip up 2-1 at home to Chesterfield, who net their 6th away win of the season already, the Millers benefited from Hereford's dropped two points at home to Accrington to climb into the automatic spots.

Darlington left it late to claim a win over Wycombe at the Reynolds Arena, whilst the result of the day belonged to Peterborough who thrashed ten man Brentford 7-0 at London Road, visiting 'keeper Simon Brown was red carded after just 2 minutes whilst Aaron McClean completed a first half hat trick.

Chester complete the play off picture after a 2-2 draw at Wrexham this afternoon, Michael Proctor scoring twice for the home side although they stay deep in trouble at the bottom.

Elsewhere, Grimsby picked up an impressive 3-0 win at Underhill as Barnet's fortunes continue to take a turn after Paul Fairclough's manager of the month award. and Lincoln's win over Notts County gave the Imps some home joy but the table still makes grim reading for City supporters.

Next weekend sees only 2 games as the FA Cup second round takes place. Rotherham must wait 'til a week on Wednesday when they travel to Saltergate for a crunch game against Chesterfield.
