Talks ongoing with Morrison and Wright

COVENTRY CITY'S bid to sign Clinton Morrison and Stephen Wright are ongoing, the club said today.

Sky Blues' boss Chris Coleman has offered contracts to the two players, who were both part of City's pre-season tour of Switzerland last week.

Club officials said talks with the two players were "progressing" - but neither of the deals had been signed yet.

City have two more targets on their radar, whom they hope to sign up before the start of the new season.

But they do not include Shrewsbury Town centreback Kevin Langmead, who has been linked with a love to the club.
