COVENTRY CITY have returned with a new bid for Carlisle United's highly-rated goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.
The Sky Blues have been tracking the talented shot-stopper since the end of the season.
And Chris Coleman has already tested Carlisle's resolve to keep their up-and-coming star with a £400,000 offer, according to the Cumberland News
That bid has been rejected.
But City have today returned with a better offer as they attempt to snap up the Republic of Ireland player who has also attracted the interest of Watford and Ipswich.
The Sky Blues are also trying to sign Manchester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel.
