Chris Coleman and Eric Black cool on Coventry City job
CHRIS COLEMAN and Eric Black have both distanced themselves from the Sky Blues hot-seat.
Former Fulham boss Coleman, who left Real Sociedad last month following a row with president Inaki Badiola, said last night: I'm not interested at the minute.
"I've been linked with a few clubs but I won't rush back in.
"There is fire in my belly to be on the touch-line but I haven't asked anybody to consider me to be the manager of their club.
Black, meanwhile, wants to remain as Steve Bruce's No.2 at Wigan Athletic.
One day I might want to return to management," he said, "but there's a big challenge here first.
"I was aware of Coventry's interest but I'm more than happy with the job I'm doing with Steve."
Black was previously in charge of Coventry for five months at the end of the 2003-04 season but was axed when then-chairman Mike McGinnity recruited Peter Reid.
"I think I was unlucky to lose my job at Coventry," he said yesterday.
"We were doing all right, averaging two points a game, but people have their choices and make decisions.
"It turned out to be a good thing because I went to Birmingham with Steve, and now I'm at Wigan."
