Are the new owners going to give you a transfer kitty though?

I don't think they are until the summer when 12 of the current squad are out of contract. There may be a couple of loan signings coming in. Any money signings will have to be generated from sales or deadwood being released

You must be expecting a push for promotion next season, things are starting to look up at Coventry.

Personally i think that if teams are not promoted this season then there will be little chance of breaking into the new 23 team premier league. Even the bottom team relegated this season will have a warchest of a minimum of £50M. I can't see how any team in this league will be able to compete with the funds that will be available to them. This league is the tightest it has been for years and even sitting in 17th place we are only 9 points off the playoffs and everyone knows that is not an impossible target to achieve. We are also only 5 points off the relegation places. This league is far from over for this season but in years to come, there are going to be fewer teams breaking into the elite league.
