Millers face Don Valley delay!
Rotherham yet to apply for permission to leave Millmoor
Rotherham are yet to receive approval from the Football League concerning their proposed move to Don Valley Stadium.
The Millers had been hoping to relocate to Sheffield from their Millmoor home, but are yet to make a formal application.
The League Two side have faced extreme financial difficulties over the last two years, slipping into administration twice.
They had been hoping for some good news ahead of the new season, but now face an agonising wait to see if they can proceed with the plans.
The Football League still have reservations over the club's finances and have made it clear that they should make coming out of administration their top priority.
"Any application to move stadium would have to be considered by the League's board of directors," said Andy Williamson, the League's chief operating officer.
"However, an application is yet to be made.
"This situation is complicated further by the fact that Rotherham United remains in administration and our priority is to establish how the club aims to exit from that position
What i dont get about this is it says we are still in admin, which were not, and how we aim to get out of it, we have applied for a CVA. so i dont get what thats on about, but it doesnt sound good.
they must be letting us play there as they have already done the fixtures? but i hope were ok.
