Millers set to train at Doncaster??

According to todays Rotherham Advertiser, the Millers will be training at Doncaster Rovers Keepmoat Stadium this coming season.

After leaving Millmoor last month, The Millers have also left its training ground Hooton Lodge, the search has been on to find a suitable training base.

It looks like its been found, for the time being at least in Doncaster Rovers Keepmoat Stadium.

The Keepmoat complex has a multi surface training base at the side of the stadium which the Millers have used before when the floods hit Hooton Lodge.

Assistant manager John Breckin and fitness coach Nick Daws have viewed the complex and are hoping to seal a deal to train there this year or until a suitable training base in Rotherham can be built.

Speaking to todays 'Tiser, assistant boss John Breckin said; "The Keepmoat is a beautiful set-up. We've used it before for training when the weather has been bad and it's got everything we need."

"We would have use of the pitch in the athletics stadium, the No.2 pitch and the astroturf when needed as well as access to the gym, dressing rooms, fitness suite and catering facilities."

The Millers center of excellence will stay in Rotherham, but as yet its home has not been announced.

Breck's asked for the fans to keep positive and support the club while it returns home.

"It's not ideal but I would urge everyone to look forward, be positive and remember that there's a massive light at the end of the tunnel ith the new ground." he said.

Are we anything to do with rotherham anymore? lets hope the council take notice and think to put some money in to help the facilities in rotherham
