I think you'll find it's some of the Brentford fans making out they're bigger than what they are Darren, we've already had one Bee saying Brentford are a bigger club than Leeds. There was calls on here for Brentford to be given 5,000 tickets which would've meant removing season ticket holders from their seats. 2,800 away fans at Leeds is the norm for a team visiting the first time in decades, all the other clubs did the same.

Steve,If you want to argue with Junkie then feel free but the last post is saying Liverpool aren't a big club, that's just stupidity, they're one of the biggest in the world.

I think one or two of the Bees fans are getting a little excited that's true, and I can't agree that Brentford are a bigger club than Leeds United.

I can't stand all this tit for tat...jeez big club this, big club that. Who cares?? Brentford are playing Leeds because we are in the same division, no club is bigger than any other who are in the same league. Yes, some teams have more supporters, better facilities etc etc but look at the likes of some of the clubs in the Premiership and Championship - their facilties, support etc is far less than some of it's fellow teams in the sam league..it doesn't make them bigger or better. Look at some of the results for example in the Premiership, who's right is it to judge who is a big club or not...with this big club mindset being beaten by a little club which has happened quite a lot this season. The reason? Because all the teams are in their respective league by merit.End of. Teams are in their respective league whether they have a massive 50k seater stand or a little 5k seater stand, it makes them no different and to be honest a lot of what is said on here really riles me, it's like kids arguing and this really bugs me. When a Premiership plays a League One side, yes that's a big club v a smaller club. It doesn't take away the history, the trophies etc etc but it is a big fish v a little fish. Any team in the same league is no different to any other, just with different histories and different facilities.Jeez you lot make me mad, it's like little kids squabbling..

Who the hell are you to say small time Brentford fans? Small time huh? Yeah Ok, have you spent thousands of pounds every year supporting your club through promotions, relegations, snow, rain, hail, sleet, sun..etc? Small time fans? You want to think again when you say that because believe you me sonny, I am no small time fan. I support my club, even when i should be at bloody home resting - don't call any Bees fan a small time fan. We are passionate about our club and while I agree some epople look through rose coloured glasses - none of us are small time. God, you have made me f*cking angry.

I dont agree. Yes, you're in the same league, but in the long run, you're nothing and never will be, unless some great manager (Clough) makes you grow into a club with status. Leeds have better facilities and will most likely bounce back to the highest echelon of football. That's not impossible considering the financial mess some topclubs are in. Brentford will most likely go down back to league two in a year or two, bounce back in another year of two... Although you're in the same league now, you'll probably never play Leeds again, you know that, and I know that.
so yea, Leeds big, Brentford small. Leeds 20000 a game, Brentford 5000 a game. And i'm not even beginning about the fame and status a club like Leeds still has in Europe. I'm living here in Belgium and even my grandfather knows Leeds (and he's by no means a footballfan).

So I dont agree, there's a difference between a club in crisis like leeds or a small club like brentford in ''top condition''.

Benitez biggest fault is the way he deals on the transfer market, i believe he's tried to rely on too many players from Spain. Those players haven't been able to perform in England making them look poor, but Ian Rush went to Italy and came back having not proved himself. Benitez has won the European Cup for Liverpool so he's no clown, and through all the troubles this season he still looks like reaching the Champions League, if you notice they're winning league games again.
