Royle leaves the Tractor Boys!

Ipswich manager Joe Royle has quit the club with a year still to run on his contract. It's been hard for Royle, the club had a good squad last season, but had to sell their best players for financial reasons. I like big Joe, although i wasn't to keen on him in the 80's when his Oldham side were a thorn in the side of Leeds. Even with Oldham he got them promoted to the top league of English football, as well as a FA Cup semi - final. I hope he returns to management, but i have my doubts if he will. Good luck Joe!!!!!!!!!!

Yes a good middle of the road Manager, never tested at the top with a big named club, reminds me very much of Big Sam Allydice, who i respect very much and who i would love to see at a top club.
