Accolade For Brown
Hull boss Phil Brown has been named Championship Manager of the Month for March.
PhilBrown_765337.jpg Preston's Alan Irvine, Neil Warnock of Crystal Palace and Wolves manager Mick McCarthy were also in the running, but Brown scooped the accolade after guiding The Tigers to third in the division. Hull suffered two defeats last month but they won their other six games and Saturday's 3-0 victory over fellow high-flyers Watford put them within one point of the automatic promotion places.
