Herefords most famous day
 As sporting upsets go, few have matched Hereford United knocking Newcastle out of football's FA Cup 30 years ago. The pictures of a swarm of boys swaddled in parkas swamping Ronnie Radford and his undersized shirt occupy a leading place in Britain's devotion to the underdog. That 30 yard screamer and the press it generated put Hereford and its team of giant-killers on the map for ever.
