Hearts sign Pinilla

Hearts have concluded the signing of Chilean striker Mauricio Pinilla on a one-year loan deal from Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon.

He impressed on trial with Hearts, who hope he will improve their goalscoring in the SPL and Champions League.

Pinilla had been brought to Italy by Inter Milan before moving to Chievo Verona, who loaned him to Celta Vigo.

The 22-year-old signed for Sporting two years ago but spent last season on loan at Racing Santander.
