Signing from Swindon
Hartlepool United have taken Swindon Town midfielder Andy Monkhouse on a month's loan.
The former Rotherham United trainee joins Danny Wilson's side after struggling to earn regular first-team football with The Robins.
Swindon boss Paul Sturrock has opted to loan out the 26-year-old to their League Two rivals after he became surplus to requirements with the Scot's current plans at The County Ground.
Monkhouse has scored just two goals in nine appearances with the West Country club, and will aim to kick-start his season at Victoria Park
